Short Bio:
Konstantinos Papaefstathiou currently holds the position of Head of the Department of National Quality System at the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP). He has been employed at EOPPEP since 2002. During his tenure, he has served in various roles of responsibility, including Head of the Department of Educational Framework and Head of the Department of Qualification Certification.
Mr. Papaefstathiou is responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of co-funded programs within the framework of Greece’s representation in the European Network for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET). He is also responsible for the implementation of projects co-funded by the Operational Programme “Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027”. In terms of education, Mr. Papaefstathiou is a graduate of the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA). He also holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Adult Education from the Hellenic Open University (EAP), which he completed with honors. He is fluent in English and possesses basic knowledge of German
