OBJECTIVES

To inform career guidance professionals about current European developments and priorities, European networks, best practices, and tools that promote professional competence in Career Guidance, educational and employment information, transparency of qualifications, mobility, and the connection of citizens with the labor market.
To present the work and activities of the National Centres for Euroguidance, Europass, EQF/NCP, EQAVET, REFERNET, in order to enhance their practical use by career guidance counselors.
To strengthen networking and coordination among all stakeholders involved in the provision of Lifelong Career Guidance services at both national and European levels.

TITLE

Experiential Training Seminar for Career Guidance Professionals

SECTION A: EOPPEP’s Career Education Tools
SECTION B: Career Guidance Tests – Europass Tools

OBJECTIVES

To support career guidance professionals serving in public bodies in the fields of education, training, and employment, in effectively utilizing the free tools of the National Lifelong Career Guidance Portal and the National Europass Portal of EOPPEP in their daily practice, within the framework of the Career guidance services they provide to the public.
Specifically, participants will engage in experiential learning activities related to the design and evaluation of career education actions and programs, the assessment of personality traits using EOPPEP’s career guidance tests, and the advisory use of Europass Tools to support transparency of qualifications and educational and employment mobility.
The ultimate goal is to enable counselors to provide holistic support to beneficiaries, helping them plan and make informed decisions regarding their studies and career paths.
